For 12 years now Feeling Gloomy has been rocking London with sad songs to make you happy.
It’s been 8 years in New York and now it’s Manchester’s turn as on Saturday 11th November the Gloom lands at Night People to allow the good folk of Manchester the chance to cry in to their beers (boo hoo).
So what can you expect? Well apart from being entertained by Sullen Sean you can expect, in room one, the finest miserablists anthems from the like of The Smiths, Cure, National, Strokes, Dolly Parton, Cult, Joy Division, Depeche Mode and many more. Room two is tear-jerking northern soul.
As with every other Gloom over the past 12 years you can expect to hear all your favourite melancholic melodies from the likes of David Bowie, The Smiths, Pulp, The Clash, Kate Bush, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Suede, Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Joy Division and more!
Wear whatever you like, just check your smiles in at the door
