Buckle & Boots are delighted to host US Country Artist Canaan Cox at Night People Manchester on June 24th 2019 as part of his ‘Long Way Home UK Tour’. Support comes from Gary Quinn.
Canaan Cox is truly a manifestation of the phrase “hard work pays off.” With a “rules are meant to be broken” attitude, this NC bred country star has taken Nashville by storm. Having only lived in music city for little over a year, he’s made more waves in the town than even he thought were possible.
“People kept saying this was a 10 year town – that lit a fire for me. It made me want to prove them wrong.” Cox is surely off to the races. His debut single “Lie” charted in the first 2 weeks on Music Row and became one of the Top 20 most added songs there.
A 5 time British Country Music Association Awards winner including ‘Male Vocalist of the Year 2016 & 2017’ and previously ‘UK Songwriter of the Year’ and consecutive ‘Song of the Year’ honours, Northern Irishman Gary Quinn has become one of British country music’s more established performers. In 2018, Quinn performed at the iconic Bluebird Cafe, Nashville in a ’round’ with William Michael Morgan, Mo Pitney and American Young, toured with Phil Vassar and shared the stage with acts such as Sarah Darling and Jenn Bostic. An accomplished performer, Quinn is just as comfortable with a pen in his hand and has recently collaborated with Grand Ole Opry member and Grammy winner Steve Wariner as well as William Michael Morgan, Benita Hill (Garth Brooks), Jenn Bostic and David C Banning (Joey & Rory, Chris Cagle).
